Academic qualifications: Architect at the Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa, in 1979.

Professional experience: Collaboration in architecture offices, with projects in a personal and co-authorship, between 1978 and 1985 and in its own atelier from 1984.
He joined the Municipality of Almada in July 1985 - PDM team, between 1989 and 1994 and Head of the Division of Studies and Planning, from May 1994 to September 2007. He joined the City Council of Lisbon in March 2009 in the Department of Urban Planning as Head of the Territorial Planning Division. Director of the Structuring Projects Department, since January 2016. Member of the Affordable Income Program Mission Team since June 2016.
He participated in Juries of Architecture and Urbanism Competitions, exhibited works developed and directed training actions in the Order of Architects. He published in Co-authorship "El passado en el Presente - Berlin, Lisbon, London, Madrid and Paris" - Planur E Ediciones, articles of urbanism and presented communications in various forums.
